I'm Ashley, a 32-year-old southern girl with big dreams of creating the best desserts in town. Growing up, I always loved to bake — my mom got me my first Easy-Bake Oven when I was about seven years old. My mom was a baker and my grandmother owned a restaurant, so between the two I found a deep passion for cooking.
In 2019, I was craving chocolate covered strawberries and couldn't afford to keep buying them from expensive stores — so I made my own. A family member saw them, posted them on Snapchat, and the orders started flowing in. Southern Delights was born.
Over the years I went from chocolate strawberries to cupcakes, cheesecakes, sheet cakes, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. In 2025, tragedy struck — my dear friend Chocolate, the mother to my first cousin, suddenly passed away at 32 years young. I rebranded in her honor because she always believed in me and supported my journey. Dreams of Chocolate was born. 🤎
I have two wonderful little boys, Terrance and Ashton, who keep me motivated every day.
